THE TOUR OF WREATHS

 Twas the month before Christmas and all through the village, the shoppes and the pubs were all a twitter.

"Come one! Come all!" the shopkeepers said proudly. "Come see what we've done. we've made a fine day of holiday fun."

 On November 19, the merchants of The Village at Wexford created a display of  Holiday wreaths for the 2nd annual Tour of Wreaths, organized by the Village at Wexford merchant association.

Merchants displayed their wreaths inspired by the spirit of the Holidays as well as each store’s own business. It was a particularly beautiful day to walk around the village and discover the special deals offered by many of the merchants. There were also the Shore Notes Caroling, pets and parents picture with Santa and a special adoption event held by the Hilton Head Humane Association; adopting a homeless pet will always be one the most beautiful gifts.

 Talking about gifts: patrons were invited to vote for their favorites, and one lucky voter won a $500 shopping spree at The Village at Wexford!

COMING SOON! NEW LOCATION NEAR THE NORTH END

 We are thrilled to announce the Spring 2012 opening of a new Pino Gelato licensed location in Bluffton, South Carolina. New owners Attila Malaczko and Krisztian Lonyai found a great location in the Bridge Center, off the bridge connecting Hilton Head Island to the main land.

 In Attila’s words:

 “It has always been an exciting project to open and operate a European style Coffee House. Bring the atmosphere and the quality products together that is some of the important ingredients to create the experience you still can only find in historic Europe. A place where you cannot just run in and grab your favorite beverages, food but where you can also sit comfortably, relax, read your favorite daily newspaper, meet with friends, take your loved one on a date, or discuss business matters while you indulge your taste buds with quality products in a serene peaceful setting.

 We believe that this experience will be a true hit for a variety of customers. This is a place where different generations mingle well. From young families with kids through the active studying youth and middle aged business traveler to the retired elderly with their desire of unique indulgence, each will find their place here.

 For both of us partners, in business and in life, Attila Malaczko and Krisztian Lonyai, this experience has always been something that was hugely missed living in the US and quite often came up in our discussions. We always thought that Krisztian's creative mind both in the kitchen and in aesthetics and design is a good match with my long years of experience in hospitality along with my extreme attention to detail and love of interior design. 

 We both grew up in one of the most beautiful European capitals in Budapest and soaked in the variety of venues in this historic city created by a truly rich thousands of years old culture.

 When this past summer of 2011 we accidentally learned that Pino Gelato, where we have been already frequent visitors for their quality product, has already expanded its business in multiple states up and down the coast yet did not come to Bluffton yet, we immediately asked the question why and if there is an interest from the owners. We were excited to learn about their interest to expand to Bluffton and the availability to do so via their Licensee Program. Their high quality and even more nutritious product than any other in its class has already starting to make its name in the industry. Pino Gelato is a perfect match for our envisioned business and we are looking forward to make it happen”
