John Jacobs
 
John graduated from Ohio University in 1972 with a degree in Education. He taught elementary school for five years while earning his Masters Degree in reading and learning disabilities from Purdue University. In 1977, John took a leave of absence from teaching to pursue his Administrators license. At the same time he joined National Starch and Chemical Company. Over the next 25 years his job assignments would provide opportunity in material management, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, packaging, transportation and human resources. John has had extensive education in the area of manufacturing, quality control, sales and business growth. He has been formally trained in all areas of manufacturing, quality management, problem solving and crisis management. His last position before starting his own company in 2001 was North American Director of Material Management.

John founded Sataria, a successful warehouse and distribution company in Indianapolis, Indiana. John sold the majority ownership in Sataria in 2008 to allow him the freedom to become more involved in Pino Gelato. John is a familiar face at Pino Gelato and he is married to Ramona Fantini, the President and owner. John serves on the board of directors as the Executive Vice-President.
 
     
Dominic Leong
 
Dominic comes from a background of Malaysian ethnicity. Growing up in a multi-cultural melting pot, Dominic developed a passion to experience the diversity of food early in his age.

Before joining Pino Gelato, Dominic was responsible for managing multiple Food and Beverage outlets for a Four Diamond Resort. Dominic was also responsible for overseeing and setting up the new concept of a Fusion restaurant, managing an upscale restaurant and developing a staff training program for a chain restaurant. With over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dominic believes that a successful business always relies on taking care of both the internal and external customers and adheres to the philosophy of “Behavior BREEDS Behaviors”. Dominic holds a degree of Hospitality Business Management from Birmingham University, England and graduated with honors.

Dominic has acquired knowledge in the gelato industry through professional training classes, attending and participating in trade shows, experimenting and obtaining advice and guidance along the journey. Dominic is responsible for business analysis.
 
     
Claire Tulas
 
Claire moved to the United States from France after earning her Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management at the EM Strasbourg Business School in France. She also studied at the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada and graduated with honors. Claire began her career at Sataria in the warehousing and distribution business. Claire was involved in operations using state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System and developed performance standards. Claire implemented a Quality Management System and obtained the company ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Claire joined the Pino Gelato team to supervise the supply chain.

 
     
Minimize Martin Tiongson
 

Martin and desserts share a personal and professional history together. He studied with Nestle Philippines in his undergraduate degree for the chemical process industry and plant design of ice cream manufacturing. As a Corporate Planning Associate in URC, a global consumer goods company, his responsibility was business intelligence and analytics of the biscuits, cakes and chocolates product categories.  URC manufactures, distributes and markets the Jack'n Jill family brand which includes Tivoli Ice Cream. This opportunity enabled him to learn the broad strokes of business management while giving him a taste of operations. More recently, Good Scoop Ice Cream, a concept which he created, won the University of Miami Business Plan Competition.

Martin is happy to be part of the Pino Gelato team as a business development manager.
